SignShare User Guide: Ad Cycles

Welcome to the SignShare User Guide! This guide will walk you through the Ad Cycles and how signs are categorized within different ad timelines. Understanding these cycles will help you manage and print signs efficiently.

Sign Date Timeline : Each sign will fall into one of the following Ad Cycle buckets based on the ad break date:

  1. Ad Prep (Division only)
  2. Kit Prep
  3. Next Ad
  4. Current Ad
  5. Prior Ad (Store only)

1. Ad Prep (Division Only)

  1. Navigate to Ad Prep from the SignShare menu.
  2. Division users can input new signs ahead of the Kit Prep window.
  3. When Kit Prep opens, Ad Prep rolls into Kit Prep automatically.
  4. Store-level users cannot access Ad Prep.
  5. This step is optional for divisions that want to pre-key signs before Kit Prep.

Kit Prep (Store Level – Edit Window Only)

  1. Kit Prep is the final review phase before signs are automatically pulled and printed for the weekly kit.
  2. Stores can edit signs only during the edit window.
  3. Edits allowed in Kit Prep: Change quantity or size, Edit sign content, Delete unwanted signs.
  4. Signs in Kit Prep CANNOT be printed in store.
  5. Signs are automatically pulled and printed on schedule.

3. Next Ad

  1. The Next Ad cycle contains signs for the upcoming ad that will break on Wednesday after the current ad ends.
  2. Key Features of Next Ad: Displays signs that will be active next week and Signs CAN be printed in store before the ad break date.
  3. Steps to Print Next Ad Signs: Navigate to Next Ad from the SignShare menu
  4. Find the sign(s) you need to print.
  5. Click Print to generate in-store copies.


Kit Prep (Store Level – Edit Window Only)

  1. Kit Prep is the final review phase before signs are automatically pulled and printed for the weekly kit.
  2. Stores can edit signs only during the edit window.
  3. Edits allowed in Kit Prep: Change quantity or size, Edit sign content, Delete unwanted signs.
  4. Signs in Kit Prep CANNOT be printed in store.
  5. Signs are automatically pulled and printed on schedule.

4. Current Ad

  1. The Current Ad cycle displays active promotions currently running in stores.
  2. Key Features of Current Ad: Signs CAN be printed in store and View all division-supplied signs by clicking “Display Batch”.
  3. Steps to View & Print Current Ad Signs:: Navigate to Current Ad from the SignShare menu
  4. Find the sign(s) you need to print.
  5. Click Print to generate in-store copies.
